Can’t say enough good things about this place!! I went for the grand opening events and I was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff, outstanding drinks, ambience is definitely one of the best in Atlanta, and the music/DJ was perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone! Looking forward to going back frequently! El Malo might be best highend cocktail bar/lounge in Atlanta in the last 10-20 years!!

This place is incredibly thoughtful and curated with intention and care. Both Omar and Gabe are not only kind people, but showcase their respect for their vision and hospitality in their every day actions. It’s not often you see owners making & shaking cocktails, bussing tables and assisting guests with a smile on their face. Additionally, the cocktails are created with intention and respect to the spirit and producer amongst the myriad other reasons they do what they do. Hats off.. The aesthetics and staff are merely a bonus. It’s rare to visit places in Atlanta where the staff truly care about the overall mission and vision they’re contributing to and this radiates with every visit I have to this bar.

A much needed addition to Atlanta night life! El Malo combines all the elements you love about a night out including ambience, great music, delicious food and craft cocktails into a sleek, upscale environment with the perfect vibe. The space is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful design elements throughout. I will certainly be back soon! Highly recommend!
